If you know what type of car gets good gas mileage, please let me know, and if your car gets really good gas mileage and is small,what type and year is it? Also, how much does it get, and how much does it cost? Thanks|||The hybrids get the best mileage, but they are so expensive. VW Diesels are second, but they are pricey and they smell.
Gasoline Engine - best car is Toyota Corolla.....Lower 30's City and upper 30's highway. If you have a manual, you can get 40mpg in the highway.|||Anything VW makes that's diesel. I am particularly a fan of the new Rabbit (aka Golf) TDI. That's going to be my next car. Double the mileage of a comprable gas car.
