Gas Mileage?

I was wondering what "normal" gas mileage is. What can I expect from my car, when should I be worried?

(I have a 4-door 1996 Buick Skylark...if you have any comments on those, that's cool too)Gas Mileage?
depends on whether it's highway or city driving. hills no hills. the best way to check is fill up. reset your trip odometer to 0. drive for a while. fill up and divide the gallons it took to fill up into the miles. do this a few times and you should be able to come up with a good average. the stickers on the cars at dealerships are not a good gauge. those are done at 30mph on a dyno. that's not a good measure of the actual mileage you'll get in the real world some other notes, regular oil changes, air filter, fuel filter replacement and spark plugs and wires at the recommended mileage will go a long way to improving mileageGas Mileage?
According to this web site your car should get 19 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway. If it is a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder. If it's a 3.1 liter six cylinder it should get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway...

here is the web site in case you want to check it yourself.

God bless !

idk depends on the size of the engine and the size of the car and how you drive it
unless you drive in heaven, (perfect conditions at all times) your mileage will not be as the sticker states. I have always wondered how the manufacturers can give out false information, but they all do it.
