Gas mileage?

I have a 1995 chevy lumina with 154,000 miles on it now. The gas mileage still seems real good giving me more than 300 miles from each fill up. I feel the mileage is as good as when the car was new. Does gas mileage usually go down as a car gets older? I will say I maintained the car well. Should I still get as good of gas mileage from this 13 year old car as the day it was new?Gas mileage?
With proper maintenance, yes, it's highly possibly to get as good, and in some rare cases better mileage out of a car as when it was new.
