i have a 1991 chevy S-10 and i am getting real bad gas mileage. like 8 m/g i put new o2 sensor, fuel filter, thermostat, spark plugs/wires, air filter and i believe thats it. and i asked this question before but i don't know where sensors are and stuff. can someone help me fix this. thanksGas Mileage?
i think on a 1991 Chevy s10 that's all their is is on your truck but if it has got more than one they will be by the exhaust manifolds right below them. it sound like you have replaced every thing that you can and had no results i would have it put on a scan tool and see what is wrong with the fuel parameters it is to costly guessing and it could be the air mass flow sensor but i think it go's deeper like a intake leak but the only way you can tell is to hoke it up. good luckGas Mileage?
Change all 02 sensors... you should have 3.... I had the same problem with my 98 blazer...3 sensors, I changed them all and the mileage jumped up big time.
