Gas mileage?

If you own a 2007 Ford Freestar what do you think about it and the gas concumption? Or an Expedition?(not really sure which one I want)Gas mileage?
well, those are two pretty different vehicles. though they are both equiped with AWD and can seat up to 7, the expedition is a full size SUV and the freestar is a mini van. unless you were thinking of fords cross over which would be the freestyle. ford builds an excellent reliable vehicle and both would be great choices. though the expedition will get 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, and that is with the 2wd model with the 5.4L V8 which is the only engine available at this time in the expedition. this is the same engine that is available in ford small trucks. were the ford freestar is a mini van, with a V6 so it will get around 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, with the 3.9L V6 and the 2WD model. there is such a large difference between these two vehicles in fuel miliage and handling, you might want to take a look at a 07 freestyle. which will handle more like a mini van, instead of a truck. all of these models are available in AWD/4WD.

good luck and happy car buying. no matter what people might tell you, the american automotive companies (Ford, GM, Chrysler/Dodge) build good, reliable automobiles.Gas mileage?

The Freestar will get between 20 and 25 mpg when driven nicely under most USA driving conditions. An Expedtion will get 15 or so.

Unless you have some heavy towing to do (trailers over 2000 lbs), the Freestar is a better vehicle for you. The Freestar will cost you many thousand less initially, in addition to the significant fuel savings. There is practically no difference in interior room.Gas mileage?
yuk!

Sorry, but I think you can do better than a Freestar

Try a GMC Acadia
