What is an older car with good gas mileage?

I will be turning 16 soon and I want to get a car that is very economical as far as gas mileage. Any suggestions?|||Lexus ES250--so cute, so deluxe, so cheap

Geo Metro (also called Chevrolet Metro)--these are actually pretty cheap (priced) cars but are very good and also good on gas so you don't have to get an older car when you can afford a newer one

Infiniti G20

Toyota Tercel|||very simple. honda civic or toyota camry.|||i own a 03 cavalier that is really good on gas mileage......|||I have a 1995 Saturn SC1 Coupe, automatic, and when it first came out, you got 40MPG Highway and 28MPG City. Great little small car, two door. It only has 100 Horsepower, but it gets the job done great! Acceleration is great and the speakers are good. The best part is, it is a cheap car! I bought mine for about $1,500. Good car, and I have heard that it can last up to 300,648 thousand miles!!!! I have about 195,500 miles and it works like a charm. Also, it is a good looking car, and looks even better if you want to customize it!

It has driver and passenger air bags, optional power windows and doors, and ABS (anti-lock brakes) as an option. The only major breakdown I have ever had was that the muffler fell of while I was driving. But that was the worst!

I highly recommend it!|||Its your preference on cars . You can find an older car anywhere worth the money if you shop around.

I have a 94 thunderbird v6 that gets 31MPG, it looks and drives good. I gave fifteen hundred bucks for it!
