Gas mileage?

What is the best way to increase my gas mileage? I know the simple things like change your oil and air filter, but is there anything that can really make a good increase in mpg?Gas mileage?
check your codes and do a tune up. bad ignition or emissions parts, o2 sensors, will hurt your vehicle's fuel economy.
I don't know sorry go to your car dealer.Gas mileage?
go slower... the more you speed the more fuel you use
don't accelerate or stop rapidly.

make sure that your exhaust is working properly. our muffler had a hole in it, and our gas milage dropped drastically.Gas mileage?
i dont know....but if you want to get a new hybrid car or somethin(Toyota Prius,Lexus RX 400h,etc) they have outstanding gas mileage
Watch your speed, inflate your tires to the correct pressure, use a/c rather than windows down (aerodynamic drag), check into a performance chip, read hot rod magazines.
One way to decrease your gas mileage is to refrain from running the heater or the A/C as much as you can. You could also cut down on radio/CD player usage.
Make sure tires are properly inflated. Drive at posted limits. No jack rabbit starts. Anticipate stop lights. Don't follow to close.

Drive as if there was an egg between your foot and the gas pedal.
the texas tornado or everwhat it is called, A small fan that goes in the air intake, will give you another 2 or 3 miles per gallon.
you don't say what kind of car but if its carborated you can run a smaller cfm carb with hotter plugs. If its injected you can decrease port size (although I don't recomened it) and run hotter plugs. Also use an air flow system that will increase air flow such as an after market cleaner or air induction ram.
Don't get me started on that peice of tin trash they sell for about 70 bucks, telling you it gives better gas mileage, it doesn't.... it just makes your pocket lighter which may increase you gas mileage more then the peice of tin called vortex......
